The project can either be live or a project you have done in the past, as the certification requires application of the tools. This is what sets LSS certification apart from an academic qualification, which simply proves you can study and recite materials.
Employers are more and more requiring LSS certification when recruiting, as this shows a degree of capability, rather than just knowledge.
If you plan to carry out a project in the near future, this would still be ok as you will need to study and fully understand the materials prior to applying them in a live situation. This is also why there is no limitation on the time you take to get certified, unlike other courses that put a 12 month limit on submission of the project, we place no limitation on this. You can take as little or as much time as you need to fit in with the pressures of your working environment.

Hi,
I want to understand about the following stated requirement in your website:
"The candidate will also complete one full Lean sigma project utilizing the tools learned and following the two models"

Are the projects live ones? I don't expect to be working on Six sigma projects soon, but would like to be certified.

Regards,

I'm not sure if I'm putting up this in the proper area, but I'm preparing to move to the Usa and am trying to secure jobs in the i . t field. I have a job lead with a enterprise (LTJ Management, LLC, 900 Congress Ave, Suite L-150, Austin, TX 78701 (512) 895-9500) and wanted some thoughts on the easiest method to research them to see if they might be a great company to work for. I've checked on their web site, but believed someone here could have a few other thoughts on exactly where to look. Thank very much.

Anil, Good to hear from you.

The course duration is open ended, there is no time limit at all, unlike some other courses.

The course is fully online, so you can access it from anywhere in the world and your certificate won't have the word 'online' on it.

There are currently two options for the fee - Either pay the currently discounted rate of $997.00 by credit card or you can pay by 4 monthly installments of $250 to help spread the cost.

You will be given access to the student centre as soon as payment is made.

Best wishes for your certification and future career.

Paul Swift,
Master Black Belt.
